MANILA, Philippines -- Barely four months since their last visit to the Philippines, South Korean group Enhypen is back for a fun meet with Filipino Engenes, their fandom name.
Ahead of their Bench Fun Meet at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday night, Enhypen — composed of Ni-ki, Heeseung, Jake, Sunghoon, Jungwon, Sunoo, and Jay — faced local media to share what they love about the country and their Filipino fans.'Whenever we come here, the Engenes are just incredible,' the group said through an interpreter.Member Sunoo even impressed the room with a few Filipino words he had learned, including, 'Kamusta?' 'Mahal ko kayo' and 'Sunoo pogi .
Even here in the Philippines, when we see a lot of fans singing along, we feel very blessed and very happy,' member Jake said.The humble Korean stars also admitted they were still overwhelmed with the love and support they have been receiving, with some industry observers considering them as a powerhouse group in the highly competitive K-pop industry.'Words cannot express how happy we are to hear that Enhypen is considered a powerhouse. We are just speechless.
