It is now the fourth facility in Southeast Asia to get the nod from Toyota
A big win for the local automotive industry: En Tsumugi ELV Dismantler Corporation has become the first end-of-life vehicle dismantling facility in the Philippines to be endorsed by Toyota Motoring Corporation , promptly receiving a Certificate of Gratitude.
Located in Mexico, Pampanga, the facility will move the needle in responsible waste disposal and recycling of vehicles in the Philippines.Will the next-gen Toyota Vios be revealed at PIMS 2024? En Tsumugi was cultivated with the support of TMC, through Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation , which provided technical knowledge and business development in many key factors of the facility. A number of Japanese companies also provided financial support and industry expertise.
This project is part of the Toyota Global 100 Dismantlers Project, an initiative to build a network of ELV dismantling facilities in order to promote proper dismantling and recycling practices on a worldwide scale, ultimately reducing greenhouse gas emissions. En Tsumugi becomes the fourth ELV dismantler in Southeast Asia to receive this recognition from TMC following three from Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
