According to a report by The Associated Press, Musk told in an interview with Fox News that he plans on creating an alternative to OpenAI’s ChatGPT.This will be called “TruthGPT” that will be a “maximum truth-seeking AI that tries to understand the nature of the universe,” he noted.The billionaire said TruthGPT “might be the best path to safety" that would be"unlikely to annihilate humans,” according to a Reuters report.
Meanwhile, Musk also expressed concern about AI, warning that it is “more dangerous” than cars or rockets and that it can potentially destroy humanity.For example, an AI can help in writing, but there is also the possibility of it manipulating public opinion, he noted.Musk earlier tweeted that he met former US President Barrack Obama when he still in office to push for the regulation of AI.In 2015, Musk co-founded OpenAI. He stepped down from the company’s in 2018 to focus on Tesla and SpaceX.
