BACOLOD CITY – An electronics engineering licensure examination topnotcher from La Carlota City, Negros Occidental topped the October 2024 Electronics Technician Licensure Examination .
Engr. Niele Shem Bañas garnered a 93 percent rating in the ECTLE, six months after topping the April 2024 Electronics Engineering Licensure Examination with a 91.80 percent rating.Bañas earned a degree in Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering and graduated magna cum laude from the Technological University of the Philippines -Visayas based in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The Department of Science and Technology -Western Visayas congratulated Bañas, a former scholar, for his commitment to excellence. “We are immensely proud of his achievements. May his inspiring journey to success motivate our scholars to strive for greatness, not only in exams and competitions but in every endeavor, they pursue,” the DOST-Western Visayas said.
