This event is a great chance for countries like the Philippines to come together and find solutions to critical issues like climate change, among others. Organized by the Asian Development Bank , the forum will focus on how China and ADB can work better together to solve regional problems, with a special interest in promoting global and regional public goods in ADB’s developing member countries.
The objective of the second and third sessions is to probe deeper into specific climate actions. Specifically, the second session will explore how innovative financial approaches such as nature-debt swaps can aid the conservation of nature and its ecosystems. In this sense, it is an important topic since preserving forests and marine species are crucial for the Philippines.
Session four will discuss how Artificial Intelligence can be used to help solve problems related to regional challenges. For the Philippines, AI could enhance everything from disaster preparedness, agricultural productivity and industrial efficiency. The discussion will be on how to responsibly integrate AI into growth strategies while limiting the potential risks to jobs and communities.
