Top PBA rookie pick Stephen Holt understands that Terrafirma has been a doormat for pretty much of its existence in the pro league.
The only time Terrafirma made the playoffs was during the 2016 Governors' Cup when the team was under coach Chris Gavina. A young athletic James White served as import for the team that back then, carried the name Mahindra.No wonder, Holt said the culture of winning starts in practice, which he believes the team has been doing so well these days.
'This is a new group and we just have to stack the wins and how we do that is have good practice. I'm a hard worker and I just want to win,' explained the former Saint Mary's standout.A known explosive guard, Holt said he intends to be aggressive and try to help the Dyip get deep into the playoffs.'I'm super excited for the challenges and our goal is to have a good overall season,' he said.
