The President’s remarks come as the Palace said that Duterte can opt to declare martial law in Negros Island to quell what they call as lawless violence in the region. "You have to help in the maintenance of law and order. Do not limit yourself diyan sa ano. Kulang nga tayo ng tao eh," he said.
