VICE President Sara Duterte reiterated on Monday, November 25, 2024, that her statement, in which she claimed to have instructed someone to have the first couple, President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, as well as House Speaker Martin Romualdez, assassinated if she were killed, was 'maliciously taken out of logical context.
NSC Adviser Eduardo Año earlier said they are closely coordinating with law enforcement and intelligence agencies to investigate the nature of the threat, the possible perpetrators, and their motives.“As a member of the National Security Council , I do not recall receiving a single notice of meeting since 30 June 2022. I request the NSA to please send to me the notarized minutes of all meetings conducted by the Council from 30 June 2022, if any.
