MANILA, Philippines — Hulking import Allen Durham has won a championship in last year's Japan B.League, a fruit of his hard work during his three-year stint in the Land of the Rising Sun.This year though, the 36-year-old is making a comeback with Meralco , and he hopes he could replicate what he did with the Ryukyu Golden Kings in the B.League to the PBA .
That's what I've been thinking about - and hopefully, this is the year,' said Durham, during the recent PBA Media Day.Durham is rejoining a Meralco squad that is fresh off winning its first-ever franchise PBA title after defeating powerhouse San Miguel Beermen in the Philippine Cup finals last season.PBA fans for sure will be anticipating Durham's renewed rivalry with Justin Brownlee, who is also marking his return with Barangay Ginebra.
