More than 4,000 individuals experiencing involuntary hunger received meals from the ‘Walang Gutom’ Kitchen since the Department of Social Welfare and
Beneficiaries are served fresh meals in the Walang Gutom Kitchen of the Department of Social Welfare and Development on December 22, 2024. Development launched the food bank in Pasay City recently.
Dumlao said the DSWD was able to assist the families in street situations and those experiencing involuntary hunger through the donations from hotels, restaurants, and other establishments. “We are equally thankful to the volunteers who, even on holidays, spent their time serving food to the beneficiaries of the kitchen,” Dumlao said.
