DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Rex Gatchalian visited areas affected by the eruption of Mount Kanlaon on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.Gatchalian led the distribution of 980 family food packs worth P597,800 and reassured displaced families of the government’s continued support.He visited La Castellana Elementary School in Barangay Robles, Negros Occidental, to assess the evacuees' conditions and ensure prompt assistance.
