LAGUNA – Authorities arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in the Municipality of Santa Cruz on Wednesday, April 19.The suspect was arrested after being caught in the act of selling illegal drugs to a police poseur-buyer.
Confiscated during the operation were a .38-caliber gun, three bullets, and 10 plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” with an estimated street value of P10,900. The suspect is now under the custody of Santa Cruz Municipal Police Station and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The pieces of evidence, on the other hand, were submitted to the crime laboratory for forensic and ballistic examination.
