Francis 'Frank' Hooper, 58, was injured after his car collided with a bus and two other vehicles on Stirling Street on Friday. He was taken to hospital where he sadly passed away.
A driver who died in a horror crash involving a bus and three cars in Airdrie has been named as Francis 'Frank' Hooper.
The 58-year-old sadly lost his life following a collision on Stirling Street, at around 3.25pm on Friday, October 11. It is understood the car being driven by Frank, who is from the North Lanarkshire town, collided with a bus and two other vehicles. He was taken to hospital where he died a short time later. In a tribute shared through Police Scotland, they said: "Frank was a much loved husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him."Road Policing Sergeant Nick Twigg said: "Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Hooper.
