Meet the remarkable women joining this year’s Best Dressed Women of the Philippines for the Philippine Cancer Society patientsThe Best Dressed Women of the Philippines , a prestigious fundraising event dedicated to benefiting the Philippine Cancer Society , once again brings together prominent women from various fields who are committed to helping cancer patients across the country.

Consul Helen Ong, the chairman of the BDWP, was joined by board members, including Consul Betty Chua, Flora Chua, Sheree Chua, Eisa Mercado, Mario Katigbak, Froilan Gonzales, Charlie Rufino, Bo Muralla, Maymay Liechtenstein, Dr. Mildred Vitangcol, Agnes Huibonhua, Elaine Rojas Villar, and Marian Ong. The members of the selection committee 2024-2025 include the following, namely, David Ackerman, Yolly Ayson, Ruby Chua, Mags Cue, AJ Olpindo, Anna Sia, and Agile Zamora.Notable figures like Dr. Ma.

“Specifically for cancer, some patients choose not to undergo treatment due to financial constraints. Access to treatment remains a challenge,” Dr. Daisy shared. “We should work together for cancer patients, especially those in the provinces, to have better opportunities and access to the best treatment. We could make it more convenient and accessible for them through initiatives like this.”

And this cause is close to my heart because one of my aunts had breast cancer, which also affected my mom,” she said. “It’s one of the life experiences that has deeply impacted me.”She believes that the event is an effective way to raise awareness about cancer. “Anything that could help a cause is good. I feel like all these beautiful women will certainly catch people’s attention to the cause.
