Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green is sidelined with a strained left calf, while the Minnesota Timberwolves grapple with Donte DiVincenzo's indefinite absence due to a toe injury.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will be sidelined for at least a week due to a strained left calf. The team announced on Monday that an MRI revealed a minor strain, and Green is expected to be re-evaluated in seven days. The injury occurred in the first quarter of Saturday's victory over the Washington Wizards. Green, a cornerstone of the Warriors' defense and a vital playmaker alongside Stephen Curry, averages 8.4 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game.

Coach Steve Kerr acknowledged the team's shift in dynamics when Green is absent, stating, 'We do morph into a different team. It's almost just organic though. Steph and Dray have such a connection that when they're together out there, they're playing their game and we're playing our game. As Draymond leaves the floor it becomes a different game. We don't have to necessarily change our thinking, it more happens organically.' Adding to the Warriors' injury woes, several other key players are also out. Forward Jonathan Kuminga is recovering from a right ankle sprain, guard Brandin Podziemski is dealing with a right abdominal injury, and forward Kyle Anderson is sidelined with a left glute issue. Meanwhile, Donte DiVincenzo, who recently secured a starting spot with the Minnesota Timberwolves, is facing an indefinite absence due to a big toe injury. The 6-foot-4 guard, in his seventh season with the Timberwolves, has missed the last two games. 'It's indefinite at this stage,' Timberwolves coach Chris Finch said before the game. 'We're still waiting to gather more information, and what the procedure will be.' DiVincenzo, acquired by Minnesota in June as part of the trade that sent Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks, was averaging 11 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists for the season. He earned a starting role on January 6th. In the six games leading up to the injury, DiVincenzo averaged 17.5 points, including a season-high 28 points against the Golden State Warriors on January 15th, his last game before the injury
