THE Department of Public Works and Highways has completed the implementation of the P23.5 million asphalt overslay and solar road stud installation in Basilan province, providing safe travel to motorists at nighttime.The DPWH-Zamboanga Peninsula said the project was implemented in Menzi village, Isabela City, the capital of Basilan province.

The DPWH installed internally illuminated, flush-type solar road studs to improve visibility during night travel. “These energy-efficient markers notably elevate road visibility, allowing drivers to navigate more safely after dark,” the DPWH-Zamboanga Peninsula said in a statement.
