The P7.3 billion Panguil Bay Bridge is 97 percent complete and expected to be opened to traffic before the end of September this year, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways .
The current two-and-a-half-hour journey, which relies on roll-on/roll-off vessels, will be cut down to just seven minutes by land once the bridge is operational.
