For this reason, the DOTr will assist in the advancement of the Republic Act 11697, the Development of Electric Vehicle Industry in the Philippines. With the upcoming implementation of the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act, the DOTr and Megaworld partnership will continue to push for the expansion of electric vehicle usage in the country, the transport chief noted.
