The Department of Science and Technology’s National Research Council of the Philippines (DOST-NRCP) has proposed the immediate development of a mobile app that Filipinos can use as a personal information resource against COVID-19.
This initiative was directed to DOH Secretary, Dr. Franciso T. Duque III, chair of Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases through the Office of DOST secretary.
“The ordinariness of mobile devices and gadgets nowadays provides the opportunity for both young and older citizens to download the application through their own devices. Users can access the application wherever they are provided they have cellular data/wireless connectivity,” the NRCP said.
