The Department of Science and Technology mourned Sunday, May 2, the death of former Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development executive director Dr.
Patricio S. Faylon.
The DOST chief recalled that he asked Faylon to apprise him of the research on goats, particularly on raising Anglonubian goats in the country. De la Peña cited that Faylon “had led the formation of partnerships of PCARRD with its international counterparts and saw its transition into the new PCAARRD which already included the aquatic, fisheries and marine sciences sector.”
