Diana Fawcett, the chief executive at the charity Victim Support, said victims who had been waiting years for a victims bill were now also waiting for a commissioner. The absence of a victim’s commissioner has been noted by Raab’s former cabinet colleague Priti Patel, who inon 29 November asked him when the next commissioner would be hired, why the process had been delayed and what interim arrangements had been put in place to support victims.
