The Department of Health has warned the public of another fabricated post circulating online, this time advertising a certain “cure” for heart disease. | zacariansINQ
According to the DOH in an advisory, the said post falsely attributed DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire in order to spread false information.“The DOH clarifies that no such scenario or statement has been made by the department and its officials,” it said.
The DOH then reminded the public that non-communicable diseases and comorbidities like heart disease and hypertension “can be prevented by practicing healthy habits and a healthy lifestyle such as proper diet and exercise among others.”
