The Department of Health (DOH) recorded a total of 6,297 new Covid-19 cases in the country from March 1 to 7, 2022 as it shifted to weekly case reporting.

The Department of Health recorded a total of 6,297 new Covid-19 cases in the country from March 1 to 7, 2022 as it shifted to weekly case reporting.Of the 3,138 ICU beds, 807 are occupied while 18.4 percent of 24,678 non-ICU Covid-19 beds are being used.

The 6,297 cases recorded, according to DOH, is lower by 30 percent or 899 cases recorded on February 22 to 28.There were 26 duplicates removed from the total case count. These 26 are recoveries. Moreover, 551 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
