THE Philippines now has more than 300,000 cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 , seven months after the first infection was recorded in the country.

In Cebu City, Barangay Apas has the most number of active Covid-19 cases at 63, as of Wednesday, Sept. 23. In an earlier interview, Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu, who had been ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte to oversee the Covid-19 situation in Cebu City, expressed his concern over the growing number of positive cases in Barangay Apas.
