Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire on Friday urged political candidates to be an example in observing minimum public health standards and getting vaccination amid COVID-19 pandemic.

“Sa atin pong mga kandidato sana po ay tayo ay maging ehemplo ng ating mga kababayan, tayo ang manguna at ipakita sa kanila na tumutupad tayo sa minimum public health standards at tayo po ay bakunado,” Vergeire said. Vergeire reminded that there is still COVID-19 pandemic, noting that several countries are experiencing COVID-19 surge.
