MANILA, Philippines — A total of 11,667 COVID-19 infections were recorded from May 22 to 28,ADVERTISEMENT

According to the DOH’s latest weekly report, the infections translated to a daily average of 1,667, six percent lower than the 1,775 daily average cases recorded from May 15 to 21. A total of 105 infections or 0.70 percent of the total recorded cases, however, were tagged as critical or severe, with active critical or severe COVID-19 admissions currently at 554.
