Prior to the passage of CREATE, Danofrata noted that the Philippines had a restrictive income tax rate of 30 percent, which was among the highest in the ASEAN region. The PCCI is a business organization representing small, medium, and large enterprises, including local chambers and industry associations representing various business sectors.
Meanwhile, Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno called on the PCCI to continue its efforts in support of the country’s economic resurgence.
