He underscored the importance of fostering a culture of respect within the agency, and nurturing personnel who champion gender equality and human rights.'What we want to build at DND is a culture of respect, and what we want to nurture are civilian and military personnel who promote gender equality and human rights, and who will never commit VAW, never condone VAW, never remain silent about VAW, and this cannot be done by one person alone,' Teodoro said.
