Dingdong Dantes has nothing but all-out support for his former co-star, Aidan Veneracion , in his new role in “ Pulang Araw .”The young Sparkle actor posted behind-the-scenes clips from the historical drama’s pilot episode on Instagram. Aidan had a very memorable scene within minutes of the first episode, wherein his character Mario died tragically and said some final words to Eduardo, played by Alden Richards.
Aidan replied, “Thank you so much po, Tito/Dad @dongdantes!! Happy birthday po ulit and hope to see you soon.”“Pulang Araw” traces the intertwined lives of four childhood friends: Adelina , Teresita , Hiroshi , and Eduardo . As war ravages their homeland and Japanese forces occupy the Philippines, their dreams, friendships, and loyalties are tested, leading them on a journey of self-discovery and resilience. “Pulang Araw,” made a strong debut on Netflix via www.netflix.
