DILG reminds public: Wear your face masks, face shields in commercial establishments, public transport
DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya emphasized that the Inter-Agency Task Force has required the public to wear face masks and face shields inside public transport and commercial establishments.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque has said that wearing of face shields aside from face masks is mandatory in enclosed places like shopping malls. DILG Secretary Eduardo Año had earlier said that face shields and face shields are only required in public transport. “That statement has been superseded by events,’’ Malaya said, saying that Año’s statement regarding the wearing of face shields and face masks only in public transport were made two weeks ago.
