The Department of Interior and Local Government – National Police Commission (DILG-NAPOLCOM) center in Quezon City has extended until July 17 the lockdown imposed on its office after an employee tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
“The NAPOLCOM Office, located at EDSA corner Quezon Avenue, West Triangle, Quezon City, will be closed to the public for another week from July 13 to July 17, 2020 to minimize physical interaction and undertake contact-tracing activity,” it said.
All NAPOLCOM personnel have been ordered to work from home during the extended lockdown of the building.Last July 6, NAPOLCOM initially announced that the office will be placed on a one-week lockdown after an Undersecretary of DILG, Epimaco Densing III, tested positive for the coronavirus disease .
