MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), through the Philippine Embassy in Lebanon, reiterated its advice to all Filipinos to be vigilant and prepared and consider leaving Lebanon due to the unstable security situation. The Embassy continues to extend its services and support, especially to those in remote areas.

However, there are still less than 100 others in towns located in the southern portion of Lebanon.'We also want the Filipinos to leave those areas,' De Vega said, noting that there are less than 100 people. 'They are checking now because those are the areas that Israel might attack.''What we want right now is for our countrymen to indicate who wants to go home while there is still an airport and airlines.
