The Department of Education on Monday, June 21, said that there is an ongoing review of the K to 12 curriculum and it might be able to come up with the latest version of the curriculum by the end of
the year.“We are in the midst of efforts to update the K to 12 curriculum,” said Education Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction Diosdado San Antonio in a virtual press conference for the 123rd founding anniversary of DepEd.
“Right now, we’re in the midst of preparing the curriculum-shaping documents particularly for the first three key stages – Kindergarten to The third grade – that will allow us to refine what has been found to be areas for improvement in our present curriculum review initiative,” San Antonio said.
