The Department of Education officially sent off personnel who will serve as poll workers on election day.More than 647,000 teaching and non-teaching personnel will render poll duty on Monday, May 9.DepEd Election Task Force head and Director for Procurement and Management Service Marcelo Bragado turned over personnel and schools to the Commission on Elections .

Support Staff and 1,717 are members of the Board of Canvassers.The Comelec has approved the following honoraria for poll workers: P7,000 for EB chairpersons; P6,000 for EB members; P5,000 for ; and P3,000 for support staff. They will also receive P2,000 travel allowance and P500 anti-Covid-19 allowance.
