MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Education on Monday, June 29, opened applications for its Senior High School Voucher Program for school year 2020-2021. The program aims to provide financial assistance in the form of vouchers for incoming senior high school students in participating private or non-DepEd public senior high schools.
DepEd will not give the subsidy in cash, but will directly pay the non-DepEd senior high school where the student will enroll.642.4 million for non-DepEd public schoolsThe program"aims to increase access to SHS, thereby providing greater choice to learners and their families in deciding the SHS program that caters to their needs and career goals," reads DepEd
