LEGAZPI CITY, Albay – The Department of Education -Bicol is expecting a 1.46 percent increase in enrollment in the region this school year 2024-2025.at the Arce-Gastardo National High School in Masbate.
"All sectors na po ito. From public schools, private schools at ‘yung mga higher institutions na nag-ooffer ng kindergarden, elementary, at secondary ," Jumamil said. She urged parents to enlist their children as all schools are still accepting enrollees from kindergarten to high school. Classrooms damaged by tropical cyclones have been repaired but she said that schools lacking classrooms in Tabaco City, Tiwi, and Catanduanes due to these weather disturbances will utilize the temporary learning system.She said that DepEd-Bicol Regional Director Gilbert Sadsad is very grateful to the Philippine National Police-Bicol led by Police Brig. Gen. Andre Dizon for making the opening of classes peaceful and orderly.
