After serving the search warrant in the compound, police also went to the house of the suspect, where they found the photos of Degamo’s family and the map of their house in Pamplona.
The Philippine National Police on Tuesday said that a map of the house and family photos of slain Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo were found in possession of a suspect arrested during a raid in a compound owned by former Governor Henry Pryde Teves.
On March 4, Degamo and five others were killed while several others were injured in the attack that was pulled off while the governor was distributing aid to his constituents at his residence in Pamplona. The death toll later increased to nine. “After we purchased it, Arnie requested me to give back a favor to Nigel for him to have a decent living. What he said was he wanted to build a security agency,” Teves said.Teves said the compound security chief earlier told him that the security agency has not renewed its juridical License To Own and Possess Firearm .
