Defeated senatorial candidate Francis Leo Marcos fulfilled his pre-election promise of organizing charity events here.

CEBU CITY —

A foundation backed by Marcos held a two-day charity drive in Barangay San Nicolas, Cebu City where hundreds of residents received free wheelchairs and eyeglasses. The charity event started last Saturday, May 21, and ended on Sunday, May 22, at the Cebu City Sports Institute Gym. Cabatingan said at least 20 doctors from Manila arrived in Cebu and took part in the free eye consultation.
