MANILA, Philippines — The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Monday that the number of people who died due to Severe Tropical Storm Kristine has reached 116.It said 39 individuals remain missing.On the other hand, Kristine affected 6.7 million people or 1.6 million families, of whom 980,355 remain in evacuation centers.The report pegged damage to agriculture at P2.5 billion and to infrastructure at P1.5 billion.
