The Davao City Water District (DCWD) is advising clients served by the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project (DCBWSP) to store water from October 8 to 13, 2024, due to a forecast of low to no water supply. Heavy rains are expected to reduce production from the DCBWSP due to high turbidity levels in the Tamugan River.
THE Davao City Water District is advising clients served by the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project to store water from October 8 to 13, 2024, due to a forecast of low to no water supply..According to the latest weather advisory from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration , heavy rains are expected on October 8, 10, 11, 12, and 13.
However, if high turbidity levels persist, areas located at higher elevations or farther from storage facilities may experience low water pressure or no water during peak usage times.The affected areas include Dumoy , Riverside , Tugbok , Calinan , Cabantian , and Panacan water systems.DCWD will monitor these areas to ensure water pressure returns within 24 hours.
