DBM submits to Congress P4.5-trillion budget for 2021
The Department of Budget and Management transmitted to Congress its 4.506 trillion National Expenditure Program for 2021 with the theme “Reset, Rebound, and Recover: Investing for Resiliency and Sustainability.”
DBM said that funding under the capital outlays will be used for the government’s infrastructure programs under the Department of Public Works and Highways and Department of Transportation . By agency, the Department of Education , including State Universities and Colleges, the Commission on Higher Education, and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, remains the top department with the biggest slice from budget.
