Nagpaliwanag si David Licauco sa insidente tungkol sa post ng isang fan na suplado umano siya matapos manggaling sa isang show mula sa Canada.
Sa Chika Minute report ni Nelson Canlas sa GMA News "24 Oras" nitong Lunes, sinabi ni David na posibleng nangyari ang insidente noong kagagaling lang niya ng Canada at masama ang kaniyang pakiramdam.
"I think 'yon 'yung time na nararamdaman ko yung peak ng sakit ko. Naaalala ko hindi ako makapagsalita dahil 'yung phelgm ko, 'yung colds ko nandito lahat eh," sabay turo niya sa dibdib. "Tapos sinisipon ako, nilalagnat ako." Dati nang may mga puna kay David na suplado pero ipinaliwanag niya noon na may epekto ang hindi niya kaagad pamamansin sa kaniyang kondisyon na sleep apnea, na dahilan kaya hindi siya nakatutulog nang maaayos at tila pagod kapag kahit bagong gising.
