The Davao City Council will investigate alleged violations committed by the police during the operations at the Kingdom of Jesus Christ compound.According to a "24 Oras" report by RGil Relator on Tuesday, the council called the Interior Department to look into any constitutional rights violations committed by the police against members of the KOJC .
“Pinagaaralan na ng regional legal office namin kung anong mga kasong pwede nating isampa against the KOJC,” said PRO11 spokesperson Police Major Catherine dela Rey.GMA Integrated News has reached out to KOJC for comment.Meanwhile, Davao police said they are ready to assist in rescue missions for individuals with relatives inside the KOJC compound.“Pwede naman silang dumulog sa amin sa Sasa Police Station or they call 0998-598-7061,” added dela Rey.
