The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has no suspects yet in the murder of 28-year-old architect and engineer Vlanche Marie Bragas in Calinan District here on May 17. ManilaBulletin
DCPO chief Police Col. Alberto Lupaz admitted that the Special Investigation Task Force Bragas still faces a blank wall in the case due absence of reliable witness.
Currently, the SITG is relying on the statement of a witness who was able to attest that there were three persons onboard the pedicab, including Bragas, Lupaz added.Lupaz said the witness was only able to identify that there were two males and a female in the pedicab that passed by his location. The DCPO chief revealed that the Bragas family is unsatisfied with the progress of the investigation.
Meanwhile, the DCPO chief appealed to the public to stop spreading rumors on social media as it will not help solve the case.
