Kota Kinabalu: The proposal to establish a government based on one race and religion will put the country in a very dangerous situation.
Upko Youth Chief Felix Joseph Saang said this will not only create problems but also destroy the bonds of unity that have been built over the years.He said it is common knowledge that Malaysia was built on a foundation of support from various races, and that the fundamental principle shouldn’t be disputed. “It must be remembered that our country was formed based on the understanding of various communities of different races, ethnicities, customs, beliefs and religions.
