The new\u002Dlook Rachel Homan rink is returning to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, aiming for another Canadian title.

The Homan rink, which calls the Ottawa Curling Club home, knocked off Woodstock’s Hollie Duncan 9-2 on Sunday to capture the Ontario title in Port Elgin. They’ll now compete for the Canadian title in Kamloops from Feb. 17-26.Sign up to receive daily headline news from Ottawa Citizen, a division of Postmedia Network Inc.By clicking on the sign up button you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.

Homan’s rink underwent a major change this season, with the addition of veteran Tracy Fleury. While Homan continues to throw the final rocks and Fleury throws third, it’s Fleury that ultimately makes the calls on what shots to make. Emma Miskew throws second stones and Sarah Wilkes acts as lead. Homan has won three Canadian titles and been runners-up for three more. They’ve also won a world championship and represented Canada at the 2018 Olympics. Miskew has been part of all of those teams, but the move to bring in Fleury as the shot caller before the start of the current season was a major change.
