Hilliard and her team of third Taylor Clarke, second Mackenzie Feindel and lead Heather MacPhee stole single points in the second and fourth ends and a pair in the fifth en route to the 7-2 win over Marlee Powers to elinminate the Halifax Curling Club rink in the triple-knockout tournament. Matthew Manuel cruised to his seventh straight win and in the process eliminated Paul Flemming . Manuel, whose only loss was in the Tankard opening draw, picked up four points in both the fifth and seventh ends in the 10-5 win.
