CTrain sexual assault suspect arrested, charged yyc
Police said the assault took place on June 7 at approximately 11:15 p.m. as the victim was in the process of renting an e-scooter at the 8th Street S.W. CTrain station. Police have charged Perjot Sindhu, 23, with one count of sexual assault. He will appear in court on Aug. 1. “Thank you to the public for bringing forward information to help this investigation,” Calgary police said in a statement.
