Police probing the killing of broadcaster Percy Lapid on Tuesday night conducted a crime scene walkthrough with self-confessed gunman Joel Estorial in Las Piñas City.
Kraft said Estorial's statements during the walkthrough matched the CCTV footage obtained by the investigators. Estorial, who surrendered to the police, also told investigators that they conducted a two-week surveillance on Lapid, whose real name is Percival Mabasa, prior to the killing,earlier requested the police for a crime scene walkthroughRoy asked the alleged gunman some questions like Lapid's expected destination and the location where the fatal shooting occurred.
“Yun po ang isa niyang claim na may nagbayad po ng P550,000 pero kahapon niya lang po 'yan nasabi [That is one of his claims, that someone paid him P550,000. He disclosed this just yesterday],” he said.
