An investigation is underway after the bodies of a man and woman were discovered in south-west Victoria on Friday morning.

Police have set up a crime scene in regional Victoria after a passerby found the bodies of a man and a woman on a walking track on Friday morning. Victoria Police said in a statement a passerby came across the bodies on a walking track near Wreck Beach in Gellibrand Lower about 10.45am. The walking track cuts through thick bushland down to the remote beach which is located about 230km from the Melbourne CBD.
